With over forty combined years in event planning, our team has established a reputation for excellence in the Georgia market. We have produced hundreds of memorable events from weddings to corporate trade shows, from holiday parties to fundraisers for various charities. In 2012, Bryan "Rusty" Newport collaborated with his partners to form 33 Events, a project dedicated to continued success in the event planning industry with a secondary focus on awareness and philanthropic efforts for our adopted charities. We have continued our long-standing partnerships with our vendors in order to provide our clients with the best possible products and services, establishing a full-service event planning company that can provide for any vision. We have partnered with Carriage House Catering to cater all of our events, recognizing Chef Jeff Brister's reputation for quality and passion in the Atlanta area for over twenty years. Combined with our intrinsic attention to detail, established integrity throughout Georgia, creative event design, and zeal for our causes,  33 Events seeks to fulfill the highest expectations of our clients while assisting to raise awareness and support for the cherished charities under our care.

Rusty Newport, CSW
Managing Director & CEO
An Atlanta native, Rusty Newport began his career at Wild Dunes Country Club in Charleston, SC, where he developed a passion for the hospitality industry. Continuing his career with CCA, he led the service and special event planning programs in CCA's various properties throughout the Lowcountry, focusing on weddings, wine dinners, and corporate events for the enjoyment of his clubs' members and guests. Returning to Atlanta, Rusty continued his success with the private clubs of Canongate before administering the sales department of the Silver Platter Catering Company.  

Rusty was awarded the degree of Sommelier in 2004 by the American Institute of Wine and Food and earned the class-ification of Certified Specialist of Wine from the Society of Wine Educators in 2011. He continues his passion for events, wine, and philanthropy and is noted in the industry for his creativity in event design, ingenuity, and dedication to his causes.

Through many years of selective hiring, training, and establishing long-lasting relationships, the team of 33 Events has been crafted into a paramount company of service experts.  Offering discrete and professional service, creating the perfect ambiance for your guests, and attending to your every need, our service team takes great pride in being an integral part of each and every event.
Why 33? 

The number 33 was chosen to represent our company for a variety of reasons. Known as the "Master Teacher", the number 33 is said to be the most influential of all numbers and is indicative of selfless devotion to the progress of mankind. 3 is known as the number of perfection and our 3 charities will benefit from all of our events. We are proud to host events throughout the state of Georgia, which is primarily situated on the 33rd parallel. There are numerous other notions that provide for this foundation, including the poetry of the Italian poet Dante, who ended the 33rd Canto of his Divine Comedy with the enigmatic phrase "perfect, pure, and ready for the stars."
